Answer: While the event is primarily marketed to the tech, startup, and finance communities, we welcome individuals from other backgrounds. There will be attendee vetting to ensure a like-minded and engaging group.
Q2: Who are in Cup of Tea's network?
Answer: We are a Singles Community that originated from the UC Berkeley alumni group, and later we expanded through word of mouth to include members from other university alumni networks and diverse professional backgrounds. With over a thousand members, we share a common trait: being intellectually curious, fun, and seeking genuine connections.
Q3: Who has sign up for the event so far?
Answer: We have a balanced gender and local-foreign ratio. All are professionals with bachelor’s degrees or higher, 90% from tech and finance.
